3 Different Ways to Install

Local Update from USB

  1. Download the latest updater file here and save to the root of a FAT-32 formatted USB flash drive.
  2. Login as the tool administrator and navigate to the About page.
  3. Select Software Update in the bottom left hand corner.
  4. Insert the USB with the latest updater into the USB located on the rear utility panel.
  5. Patch files discovered by the tool will show up in the Available Patch Files section.
  6. To apply a software patch, the user must select a file from the Available Patch Files section and click Apply.
  7. The status and detailed output of the installation process is available at the bottom of the page.
  8. When complete, restart the tool for the changes to take effect.

Update Over the Network

  1. Download the latest update here.
  2. Connect to the equipment from a network computer browser using the  IP address found in the About page. Each piece of equipment will have an unique address.
  3. Login as the tool administrator and navigate to the About page.
  4. Select Software Update in the bottom left hand corner.
  5. Select Choose File, navigate to the downloaded file and open.
  6. Wait for file to upload.
  7. On the equipment, navigate to the About page and select Software Update.
  8.  Select the updater file in the Available Patch Files and press Apply.
  9. The status and detailed output of the installation process is available at the bottom of the page.
  10. When complete, restart the tool for the changes to take effect.

Update from Another Computer

  1. Download the latest update here.
  2. Connect to the equipment to a computer using and Ethernet cable.
  3. Use a DHCP server on the computer to connect to the tool.

  2. Select Sharing Preference Pane
  3. Enable Internet Sharing with the following settings:

To computers using Ethernet

Share your connection from Wi-Fi

Third-party DHCP server software will need to be installed in order to connect with the equipment.

 
  1. Open a browser on the computer and enter the IP address found in the About page of the equipment. Each piece of equipment will have an unique address.
